NCWIT Seed Fund – Deadline: 10/28/2018
We’ve added a third Seed Fund this year! The NCWIT Academic Alliance Seed Fund awards proposals with startup funds to develop and implement initiatives for recruiting women and underrepresented populations in computing and IT. Gifts are $10,000 each plus reimbursement for one PI to travel to the May 2019 Summit. We’ve streamlined our process so all three Seed Fund awards are in one application. Intrigued? NCWIT Undergraduate Research Mentoring Award – Nomination Deadline: 10/28/2018
Great mentors are important—show them how so! Nominate an outstanding undergraduate research mentor whose efforts have encouraged and advanced undergraduate in computing-related fields. The winners of each institution will receive a $5,000 gift to support the recipient’s research. Submit a nomination or read more about the award.
NCWIT Harrold and Notkin Research and Graduate Mentoring Award – Package Submission Deadline: 12/02/2018
Do you know someone who has combined outstanding research accomplishments with excellence in graduate mentoring? Has he or she served as an advocate for recruiting, encouraging, and promoting women and minorities in computing fields? What better way to show them than to submit nomination materials on their behalf and surprise them with a $5,000 gift and a trip to the NCWIT Summit? NCWIT Collegiate Award Opportunity to Share with your Students! Deadline: 10/15/2018
ALL of your undergraduate and graduate women students majoring or minoring in computing-related fields are eligible to apply, and applications for 2019 are open until October 15, 2018. Recipients receive up to $10,000 in cash, a trip to the NCWIT Summit and other great prizes! Share this opportunity with your students and encourage them to apply now!
